old. Two years later he took part in Operation Desert
Shield in 1990, where he served with the 7th Marines
in a surveillance and target acquisition / sniper platoon.
After the war he attended the Iowa Writers Workshop and
at the time that this book was written lived in Portland,
Oregon. |
