| Title:
Colditz
The Colditz Story and The Latter Days by P.R.Reid. |
| Description:
The
men imprisoned at Colditz were escapers who had all made
some form of escape from other camps. Colditz was seen as
impossible to escape from, yet there were over three hundred
escape attempts in the four and a half years of the war.
The Colditz Story tells of the early escapes culminating
in Pat Reids own escape. The Latter Days continues
the story of Colditz from 1942 to 1945. Both books have
been made into a television series starring Robert Wagner
and David McCallum. |
