The
author was born in London in 1924 and served as a pilot
in the Fleet Air Arm in WWII. As a journalist he covered
many conflicts including the Korean War. In 1954 he was
one of the first to travel independently to Red China, which
resulted in a television documentary. He is the author of
several books. |
