| Title:
Overlord.
Normandy 1944 by W.G.F. Jacksoni. |
|
Description:
Much has been written about D-Day but this book looks
at it from a slightly different perspective and examines
the planning involved and tries to discover if there was
another route into Europe to defeat the Axis forces. The
author explores the factors governing the debate such
as the need to assist the hard pressed Russians and the
popular cry for a second front.
