Author: The author, from 1958 – 1967 was the editor of The Listener and a Research Fellow at Loughborough University of Technology from 1967 to 1970. He has written many books which include ‘The Glorious Revolution 1688’, ‘The Greatness of Oliver Cromwell’, ‘The Golden Century: Europe 1598 – 1715’, ‘England in the 17th Century’ and ‘Charles II: The Man and the Statesman’. He has also been President of the Cromwell Association.
