from the fighting troops, support services and civilians.

Goolrick served on General Pattons staff in North Africa,
Sicily, England and France. During the Battle of the Bulge
he was with the 80th Division Headquarters, and is a former
editor of Time-Life Books. Ogden Tanner is the author of
several other Time-Life Books which include New England
Wilds and Urban Wilds. |
