step by step before and after the warships escape and
shows how important it was that the allies destroyed them.
It tells of the fate of the major vessels on both sides
and discusses why the Germans were able to escape.

has a wealth of knowledge in the field of aviation, however,
for this book he moves into the sphere of naval warfare
for which he has done a vast amount of research. He has
in the past acted as an aviation consultant and in that
capacity has worked for the Film Board of Canada. His earlier
books include, Flying Bomb and Skystrike. |
