| Title:
Operation
Sea Lion by Peter Fleming |
|
Description:
After
the Fall of France to the Germans during WWII, Hitler
turned his attention to Britain, where the invasion of
these islands was essential. Only with Western Europe
totally conquered could the Nazis turn their full attention
eastwards to Russia. This book which is based on German
and British sources examines the strategic and military
blunders which led to the postponement of the invasion.
Churchill said We are fighting by ourselves alone,
But we are not fighting for ourselves alone.
This fascinating account looks at the military imperatives
