Walter Lord was born in Baltimore, Maryland and is a graduate of Princeton University and the Yale Law School. During WWII he served with American Intelligence in Europe. In 1955 he won international attention for ‘A Night to Remember’, an account of the Titanic disaster. This was his twelfth book. |
