Convoy
Patrol Commando Comic number 1582 |
|
Description:
This
is Commando comic number 1582 Convoy Patrol. Fairey
Swordfish flew and fought from many dangerous places during
the war, but the most risky of all were the tiny aircraft
carriers converted from merchant ships. Thats where
Lieutenant Paul Drayton of the Fleet Air Arm found himself,
and as if the U-boats, the Focke-Wulf Kondors and the
weather werent enough to contend with, he was also
faced with fellow pilots who were busy fighting amongst
themselves! On the inside cover it has Stars of Speedway
- Tommy Knudsen and Stars of Soccer Gary Bailey.
